JPSA is dedicated to fostering joyful Jewish experiences for you and your little ones. We proudly support a variety of Jewish programs such as PJ Library, preschool education and children’s programming at the Tucson JCC, summer camps, and the Tucson Hebrew Academy. We hope to spark Jewish engagement at an early age, strengthening Jewish identity and community.
We fund a range of activities, from synagogue-based programs and monthly gatherings to kiddie concerts and pop-up parent-and-me groups in public spaces. We also provide support for Jewish summer camps, which are a great way for kids to make Jewish connections, gain valuable life skills, and make good friends.
A Jewish overnight summer camp experience has a profound impact on children. Summer camp deepens connections to Judaism and inspires children to explore interests, develop independence, and make lifelong friendships.
If your child has never been to Jewish camp, you may be eligible for a scholarship of up to $1,500 offered by One Happy Camper in partnership with JPSA.
Something magical happens when parents read with their children. That’s why PJ Library sends free Jewish children’s books to families every month. If you are a Jewish family raising kids from birth through age 12, we encourage you to sign up! PJ Library welcomes all Jewish families, whatever your background, knowledge, or observance may be.
JPSA and other partner organizations greet the newest little members of our community with a wonderful box full of baby items and resources about the Tucson Jewish community. Are you expecting or know someone who is? Let us know so we can share a warm welcome!
