Growing Together

We are proud to share with you the 2024 Community Report, a summary of our collective work.

Together in 2024, we raised funds, supported our local Jewish beneficiaries and organizations, supplemented funding when need required, provided unrestricted dollars to support efforts towards growth and creativity, and raised emergency funds for Israel and Ukraine. Together we engaged the Southern Arizona Jewish community in profound ways.

Community Impact and Engagement

Affinity Groups – Engaging cohorts to encourage shared learning, socializing, and the opportunity to give back to our community; includes Jewish Healthcare Network (JHN), Women’s Philanthropy, and Young Leadership.
Jewish Community Ecosystem – Bringing community members and representatives of local synagogues, Jewish agencies, and organizations together to advance, build, and strengthen our local community.
Jewish Community Relations Public Affairs Committee (JCR PAC) – Representing our community in advocacy and social justice efforts to stand against hate in all forms.
Microgrant Funding – Providing resources that support Jewish engagement, community programming, and collaboration.
Shaliach Program – Strengthening our bond with Israel by bringing an Israeli emissary to Southern Arizona to educate, engage, and inform our community.
Tobin Board Leadership Program – Training community leaders to serve with confidence and skill on nonprofit boards, enhancing and strengthening organizations across Southern Arizona.
Weintraub Israel Center – Building a living bridge to Israel, its people, culture and history through community-wide events and programming.

Caring for Others

Chaplaincy Project – Providing comfort and companionship to ailing members of our Jewish community.
Homer Davis Project – Supporting underserved families at
Homer Davis Elementary School with lunches, snacks, and school supplies.
Indigent Burial – Assisting those unable to afford a traditional Jewish burial.
Jewish Emergency Financial Assistance (JEFA) – Providing
financial assistance for the neediest Jewish families in our community.
JPSA Inclusion Program – Supporting students with learning, developmental, and mental health challenges to actively participate in local Hebrew and Religious School
programming.
